Hotel Location

The Red Hall Hotel stands high in the picturesque setting of Walmersley, a small settlement on the outskirts of Ramsbottom, Bury.

Ramsbottom, a Victorian mill town, is located within Lancashire’s West Pennine Moors, and is steeped in both social and economic history. With a wealth of local events and attractions on its doorstep, there is a little bit of something for everyone.

The hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the North West of England. Superbly located just off the M66 motorway, the local motorway network opens up an abundance of destinations within a very short drive. The conurbations of both Manchester and Blackburn can be easily reached by car and Manchester International Airport is just 30 minutes drive away.
The hotel is the ideal location to escape to for both business and pleasure alike.

We are ideally situated with easy access to the M66, M62, M65 and just 5 minutes from the M60!

From The M66 and Manchester

Leave the M66 at Junction 1 and turn right at the traffic lights onto the A56. Go over the motorway bridge and The Red Hall Hotel is approximately 300 metres on the right hand side.

From The North

Leave the Edenfield bypass as it is about to become the M66. At the roundabout take the second exit towards Bury. At the T junction turn right onto the A56 and follow this road for approximately three miles. The hotel is situated on the left hand side just before the slip road to the M66.
